BEHIND THE BRAND
You, me & Mila Maven
Mila Maven was born from a mutual love of all things interior design and styling. Anna and Tyla wanted to create unique prints and products to suit any home, bringing a little bit of luxury to your everyday life.
Together they have created a capsule collection of standout pieces that they have designed and are exclusive to Mila Maven. From the fabrics used for cushions to the making of the vase, everything has been designed by Mila Maven and can’t be found anywhere else.
We wanted to start off with a collection of products that were accessible to everyone and are the things that people use the most in their interior styling. By focusing on a smaller range of products we were able to put our love and attention into making them as perfect as possible.
All of our products are made here in the UK. We believe that keeping manufacturing and production within the UK, where possible, is important. Our vase was 3D printed in Huddersfield and then cast and molded in Stoke-on-Trent, our cushion fabric is printed in the UK and are hand-sewn in Holmfirth and our candles and reed diffusers are created, for you, in Harrogate.

Anna Mia
I have had a varied work life from starting my career as a Commercial Property Solicitor, opening an Italian wine bar and importing wines from small vineyards in Tuscany to moving into the world of digital marketing and opening up a successful agency.
Throughout all of my jobs, a passion for interior styling and homewares has carried on – much to the dismay of my husband who frequently finds parcels from across Europe, containing various lamps/chairs/vases and soft furnishings, arriving on the doorstep.
Having renovated and designed two Victorian houses and most recently a 17th Century cottage, as well as the wine bar, I couldn’t put off the desire to try my hand at creating a product range of home furnishings and accessories.

My creative and entrepreneurial career started early on in life, around 17, when I started making and selling jewellery through a Fashion Boutique I worked in at the time. I went on to work closely with fashion designers while I studied make-up in my early 20s, they were my introduction to the world of textiles. I then studied and worked as a photographer & graphic designer for years.
I’m also an illustrator and artist. I’ve always had a side hustle, passion projects centred around art and design, making spaces more beautiful. Creating beautiful things is my passion, be it digital or physical.
My decor style has always been maximalist, much to my minimalist partner’s dismay. I love bold print, textures and lots of plants! When in doubt, put plants or flowers there.
I’m from South Africa and I have always been inspired by the vibrant culture I grew up in. The colours, textures, patterns and of course the fauna and flora of South Africa are just some sources of inspiration for me. I love finding ways to embrace my South African Heritage, along with my British heritage, to create outstanding and original decor & art.
